Pay: $25.09 - $33.68
Job Summary: Conducts clinical mental health counseling sessions in a caring, culturally accepting, confidential Christian environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides individual mental health counseling for a diverse undergraduate and graduate student population.
- Maintains accurate, timely client records and case notes in compliance with HIPPA and electronic health record (EHR) standards.
- Collaborates with other campus professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Reports to the Counseling Services Coordinator.
- Attend weekly clinical team meetings.
Special Requirements: An expressed commitment to Jesus Christ and the teachings and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Qualifications: A master’s degree in counseling or a closely related mental health field is required and state licensure in counseling (LPC or LPCC) preferred.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferred.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. May required lifting up to 25-30 pounds. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
Working Conditions: Essential tasks are performed under normal office/school conditions with little or no noticeable discomfort. Work area is lighted and ventilated.
