Job Summary: The School of Nursing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Clinical Instructor to join our faculty as an Adjunct Faculty member (<19hours per week). This role involves supervising and teaching nursing students during their clinical rotations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and effective learning experience. The ideal candidate will be a Christian with a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education.
Job Duties:
- Supervise nursing students during clinical rotations in healthcare settings.
- Provide guidance, support, and instruction to students to develop their clinical skills.
- Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and assess clinical competencies.
- Collaborate with healthcare facility staff to ensure students meet clinical learning objectives.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and model best practices for students.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in nursing or higher preferred but BSN will be considered based on years of experience. Must have an active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee. Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience, preferably in OB.
Teaching Experience: Previous experience as a clinical instructor or educator preferred, but not required.
